最小势能原理

以上证明了在所有的可能位移场中,真实位移场的总势能取最小值。所以这一原理称为最小势能原理。数学描述即总势能的一阶变分为零,而且二阶变分是正定的(大于零)。

必须强调指出的是,真实位移与其他的可能位移之间的差别在于是否满足静力平衡条件,所以说最小势能原理是用变分形式表达的平衡条件。

通过总势能的一阶变分为零,可以推导出平衡微分方程和面力边界条件,这和虚功原理是相同的,即最小势能原理也等价于平衡微分方程和面力边界条件。

虚功原理和最小势能原理之间的差别在于:

  1.  
    1. 虚功原理不涉及本构关系,适用于任何材料,只要满足小变形条件;
    2. 最小势能原理除了小变形条件之外,还需要满足应变能密度函数表达的本构关系,因此仅限于线性和非线性弹性体

最后,将最小势能原理完整的叙述为:在所有几何可能位移中,真实位移使得总势能取最小值。该方法是以位移函数作为基本未知量求解弹性力学问题的。当然,选择的位移函数必须是在位移已知的边界上满足位移边界条件,对于面力边界是不需要考虑的,因为面力边界条件是会自动满足的。

It’s cool to see some more Hanzi large type, but I wonder why have they done this? In light of Australia’s recent worries about terrorists using Google Earth to target their nuclear power plant why would China be shouting out the location of their highly flammable materials?
